Description
The SaniFlow SNU-K is an AISI 316L stainless steel sanitary mini filter housing for cartridges in the SKN configuration: open end with a “skirt” and flat closed end, in 5″ or 2.5″. It filters low and medium volumes of air, gases and liquids in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The internal surfaces, polished to Ra ≤ 0.4 µm, have no ridges or dead zones; the external surfaces have Ra ≤ 0.8 µm. It is built with orbital welds and CNC machining, and its low hold-up volumes make the most of the product. It operates from −1 to 10 barg and up to 150 °C.
It includes valves designed for filter integrity testing and for cleaning, and is ordered with electric heating, steam heating or no heating. It is supplied with a material certificate, a welder qualification certificate and a sketch with overall dimensions for installation.
