Cartridges and housings for industrial water treatment

Raw water, reverse osmosis pretreatment, process water, and product water: cartridges and housings for every stage, made in Argentina.

What is filtered and why

Water treatment is a chain: whatever is not retained at the start ends up on the reverse osmosis membranes or in the final filter. That is why choosing a cartridge starts with the feed water and with what needs to be protected downstream.

For raw water and coarse filtration, the MicroMesh stainless steel mesh cartridge is washed and returned to the line. For prefiltration and reverse osmosis protection, ProFlow pleated polypropylene cartridges. And when the water needs microbial control, the LifePure and UltraPure PES and nylon membranes.

Raw water and coarse filtration

Heat-welded, washable 304 stainless steel mesh from 12 to 500 µm: it withstands repeated cleaning.

Reverse osmosis protection

Pleated polypropylene, 100% PP, surfactant-free, with an absolute rating of 0.5 to 20 µm in the ProFlow Plus.

Microbial control

PES and nylon membranes from 0.1 to 1.2 µm for process water and bottled water.

Flow rate and housings

SaniFlow HF for High Flow cartridges and the multi-element STE-X for 3 to 36 cartridges.

The process and the product for each stage

Raw water and coarse filtration

Washable stainless steel mesh cartridge for river water and pretreatment.

Prefiltration and reverse osmosis pretreatment

Single- and double-layer pleated polypropylene, and glass microfiber for general prefiltration.

High-flow, multi-element and bag housings

For 20 to 60″ High Flow cartridges, multi-element for 3 to 36 cartridges, for one double-open-end cartridge, and for one or three 7″ filter bags.

Frequently asked questions

Water treatment: common questions

Which prefilter is recommended ahead of reverse osmosis?

A pleated polypropylene cartridge: the ProFlow Plus has an absolute rating of 0.5 to 20 µm, 8,000 cm² per 10″, and a 100% PP construction with no surfactants. With heavily loaded raw water, upstream coarse filtration with MicroMesh stainless steel mesh is advisable.

Can the stainless steel mesh cartridge be washed?

Yes. The MicroMesh has a 304 stainless steel mesh that withstands repeated cleaning: it is washed and returned to the line. It also accepts hot water sanitization at 80 °C or chemical sanitization.

Do you make custom cartridges for existing housings?

The 2.75″ cartridges are configured by code: pore size, length from 10″ to 40″, adapter (222, 226, DOE, and others), and gasket material. If your housing uses a different fitting, contact us with the dimensions.
