304 filter bag housing
Bag filtration for high solids loads, in water and fuels
AISI 304 stainless steel housing for one or three 7″ filter bags, 17″ or 32″ long, up to 10 bar, for water, reverse osmosis pretreatment and fuels.
The SaniFlow STE-G is an AISI 304 stainless steel housing for one or three 7″ filter bags with a plastic ring, in size #1 (17″) or #2 (32″). It is used for reverse osmosis pretreatment, water treatment and clarification, fuel filtration, and as a prefilter ahead of cartridges or membranes.
The liquid enters through the upper side connection, drops into the bag and passes through it from inside to outside: the solids stay in the bag and leave with it at changeout, so the housing stays clean. A perforated stainless steel sheet basket supports the bag along its full length against the differential pressure.
The lid closes with swing bolts and a handle: it opens without removing the bolts, and the bag is lifted out by its ring. It operates up to 10 bar, connects with a 2″ or 4″ flange or a 2″ thread, and is supplied with an industrial finish or with the interior polished to Ra < 0.8 µm and a matte exterior. We manufacture it at our stainless steel fabrication plant in Argentina.
Inside-to-outside flow keeps the solids inside the bag: they leave with it at changeout and the housing stays clean.
The bag holds a large amount of solids before changeout. The three-bag housing triples the filter area in a single unit.
Lid with swing bolts and a handle: it opens without removing the bolts, and the bag is lifted out by its ring.
A perforated stainless steel sheet basket supports the bag along its full length against the differential pressure.
Polypropylene, polyester or nylon, depending on the fluid and the temperature.
Industrial finish, or interior polished to Ra < 0.8 µm with a matte exterior. Made at our fabrication plant in Argentina.

7″ (Ø 7 1/16″) filter bags with a plastic ring, in size #1 (17″) or #2 (32″): one in the single-bag housing and three in the three-bag housing. ExoBag bags range from 1 to 1,000 µm, in polypropylene, polyester or nylon.
When the differential pressure reaches 1 bar; do not exceed 1.8 bar. Open the lid, which has swing bolts, and lift the bag out by its ring, with the solids inside. Before closing, check that the ring sits evenly on the basket and inspect the lid gasket.
When more filter area is needed: the three-bag housing triples it in a single unit. The catalog model, STE-03G, holds three 32″ bags in a Ø 450 mm body, 1,100 mm long.
Upper side inlet and bottom outlet, with a 2″ flange, a 2″ thread or a 4″ slip-on flange (T, W or X in the ordering code). It operates up to 10 bar (150 psig).
Normal and maximum flow rate, fluid and viscosity, temperature, solids size and load, and the line connections. With that we confirm the number and size of the bags, the right ExoBag bag and the connection.
