AISI 304 and 316L stainless steel
Stainless steel filter housings for pharma, food, beverages and water
SaniFlow is Exova's line of stainless steel filter housings, designed and manufactured at our stainless steel fabrication plant in Argentina. It ranges from mini housings for 2.5″ cartridges to 36-cartridge housings, housings for 6″ High Flow cartridges and housings for 7″ filter bags, with clamp, threaded or flanged connections depending on the model.
Each model's name tells you how it is built. The STE series is AISI 304 polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, for food and beverage; the exceptions are the STE-DO, an industrial housing made entirely of 316L, and the STE-G, a 304 housing for filter bags with an industrial finish or a polished interior. The STU and SNU series are AISI 316L with the interior polished to Ra ≤ 0.4 µm, for pharma and biotech: STU is T-type and SNU is in-line. The suffix gives the capacity: -01, one 2 1/2″ cartridge; -X, 3 to 36 cartridges; -50 and -K, one 5″ or 2.5″ mini cartridge; -DO, one double open end (DOE) cartridge; and -G, one or three 7″ filter bags.
The SaniFlow HF, in AISI 304 or 316L, hold 6″ High Flow cartridges and cover 17 to 250 m³/h recommended per housing, with 1, 3, 4 or 5 cartridges. All models are complemented by accessories sized for each housing: clamps and clamp gaskets, blank end caps, pressure gauges and compound gauges, diaphragm valves and sampling valves.

Frequently asked questions
The STU and SNU are made of AISI 316L for pharma and biotech; the SNU-01 is designed for air, gases, and tank venting. The STE-01 and STE-X are made of AISI 304 for food and beverage; the STE-DO is made of 316L for one double-open-end cartridge, and the STE-G, in 304, holds one or three 7″ filter bags.
Mechanically polished. The interior reaches Ra ≤ 0.4 µm in the pharmaceutical-grade 316L housings (STU-01, SNU-01, STU-X) and Ra ≤ 0.8 µm in the AISI 304 STE-01 and STE-X.
Cartridges from 10″ to 40″ with 222 or 226 adapters or double open ends, depending on the model; mini cartridges (STU-50 and SNU-K); and 6″ High Flow cartridges in 20, 40, and 60″ lengths (SaniFlow HF).
With its configuration code: series, number of elements, length, connections, gaskets, and accessories. You can build it on each model's page and send it with your quote request.
