SaniFlow STE-DO
Process filtration with one DOE cartridge, for food, beverage and pharma
- 10″–40″
Filter housings
High Flow filter housing, 304 or 316L
Housings for 6″ High Flow cartridges, 17 to 250 m³/h recommended per housing
304 or 316L stainless steel housings for 6″ High Flow cartridges: one vertical for 1 cartridge and horizontal ones for 3, 4 and 5, 17 to 250 m³/h recommended.
The SaniFlow HF are AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel housings for 6″ (152 mm) High Flow cartridges, open at one end, with inside-to-outside flow. There are four bodies: the vertical HFV-01, for one cartridge, and the horizontal HFH-03, HFH-04 and HFH-05, for 3, 4 and 5 cartridges. Each one is ordered for 20″, 40″ or 60″ cartridges.
The liquid enters through the inlet flange, between the lid and the cartridge plate, passes through each cartridge from the inside out and leaves through the outlet flange. Solids stay inside the element and are removed with it at change-out. Each cartridge seats in the plate with its O-ring and is supported by a perforated sheet basket welded to the plate.
The SORF ANSI #150 flange, from 3″ to 10″, is selected by model and cartridge length to keep velocity in the connections low. The lid opens with swing bolts and an arm; on the horizontal units, change-out is done from floor level. SaniFlow HF housings are designed and manufactured at our stainless steel fabrication plant in Argentina.
Recommended water flow by model and cartridge length, with 1, 3, 4 or 5 High Flow 6″ cartridges.
Inside-to-outside flow retains solids inside the element: when the element is removed, the contaminant goes with it.
Lid with swing bolts and opening arm. On horizontal units, cartridges are changed without a platform or ladder.
The flange is selected by cartridge length, to keep velocity in the connections and pressure drop low.
Interior polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, pickled and passivated. Matte exterior; bright polish on request.
The housings are designed and manufactured at our stainless steel fabrication plant in Argentina; connection, material and finish to order.

6″ (152 mm) High Flow cartridges in 20″, 40″ or 60″, open at one end, with inside-to-outside flow. Each cartridge seats in the cartridge plate with its O-ring and is supported by a perforated sheet basket.
By flow rate and cartridge length: the model table gives the recommended water flow per housing, from 17 to 250 m³/h, and the standard flange for each length. With the normal and maximum flow rate, the fluid and its viscosity, the operating pressure and temperature, the filtration rating and the line connections, we confirm the model, cartridge length and flange.
The vertical HFV-01 holds one cartridge and takes up the least floor space. The horizontal HFH units hold 3 to 5 cartridges in line, and change-out is done from floor level, with no platform needed to remove the elements.
When they reach the change-out ΔP specified for the cartridge. It is good practice to record the pressure drop with new cartridges, lubricate the O-rings with a compatible fluid and check the lid O-ring every time the housing is opened.
Body, heads, plate and baskets in AISI 304 or AISI 316L, with the interior polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, pickled and passivated, and a matte or bright-polished exterior. The design pressure is 10 bar at 80 °C.
